Welcome to Journey of a Mom and Teacher. I started this blog to talk about the good, bad, and ugly of life as a mom and teacher. I want others to know they are not alone.

My name is Nicole. I have been with my husband Marc since 2009, we got married in 2016. Our son Nathan is our honeymoon baby. He has shown me that life with a toddler is unpredictable. We welcomed our daughter May 2021 and have been adjusting to life with two!

I have been teaching since 2014. I taught fourth grade for 2 years, first grade for 1 year, and now I am teaching kindergarten. I took the 2017-2018 school year off to stay home with my son. I finished my masters program for Counseling Psychology in December 2021 and will be shifting from teaching to counseling.
